KATE MOSS - FILMOGRAPHY

Kate Moss, was only 14 years old when she was discovered at JFK Airport, in New York by Sarah Doukas (the founder of Storm Model Agency). In 1988, when her family was coming back from a trip in Bahamas, Kate was soon discovered. Soon after Kate appeared topless on the cover of the British magazine ‘The Face’. From then on Kate became one of the most recognized and highest paid supermodels of the 90’s as well as today. She has been highly publicised for her campaign for Calvin Klein (most known for the perfume brand Obsession, CK Be and CK One) because of the huge controversy it caused. She was blamed for anorexia because of the way she posed nude for the ads as well as drug use. People believed she was setting a bad example of body image for young girls, but it only made Kate Moss more popular to people around the world despite the controversy. Over Kate’s career she has walked many different runways for French, Italian, New York and British designers as well as been in a number of different ads such as Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Chanel, David Yurman, Burberry, Gucci, Robert Cavalli, Missoni, Stella McCartney, Rimmel London and many more. Kate has been on many magazine covers as well, including Vogue (USA, British, Australian, Italian, and Brazilian editions), The Face, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, W and much more. Kate has been on the cover of 17 issues of W, one issue including nine different covers featuring her. Also in 1995, Kate released a book entitled ’Kate: The Kate Moss Book’ that includes her favourite pictures. It was then released again in 1997 in a smaller version. Kate has also appeared on the television screen in a documentary entitled "Models Close-Up", "French and Saunders", a comedy series on the BBC, and MTV's "Fashionably Loud" as well as "Choose or Lose" show. She has also appeared in British Mercury Mobile Phones ads, of course Calvin Klein television ads and Rimmel London television ads.
