To upload/ post a picture

For example use imagineshack   http://www.imageshack.us/
Click Browse and find the picture where you have saved it on your computer
Once uploaded--- click  " Start Upload "
(You will see a bunch of numbers and letters)
Highlight (click left mouse, hold than drag) And Copy(right mouse click) the whole line where it says  "Thumbnail for forums (1)"
Paste the code in the white box, and only after you press "Post" will you see the picture.

Click on 'Profile' at the very top of this page.

Then click 'Forum Profile Information' on the left hand column.

Then select one of the picture options and can upload a picture from one on your own computer or use a website link.

Anet! Can you tell me...I want to change my avatar to update a newer one of Kate! But when I go to put in new picture in my profile, an error on the following page comes up now, where before it did not, specifying that I cannot use "the writer" I am trying to upload. Not sure what this means or what is happening, but I am tired of using this same avatar  so any help is very appreciated

I figured it out! ok
The only way to upload a pic you want without it saying its not 'writeable' isby the option:
I have my own pic:
Specify your own avatar by URL. (ex: http://www.mypage.com/mypic.gif)and go on this website http://tinypic.com/   its forgein lol
and where it says 'Verklein' change it to Avator
upload it "nu uploaden'
The once upload copy paste the link where it says 'Directe link voor lay-outs'
